From the Ithaca Airport
Follow the airport road to the end and turn left on Warren Road. Follow Warren road for about a mile to where it ends at a stop sign. Turn left onto Forest Home Drive. Follow this road as it winds around a residential area, crosses a one-lane bridge, goes up a fairly steep hill and ends at a stoplight (Dryden Rd, also called Rte 366). Turn right and follow down a long hill to a 3-way stop. Turn left on to Judd Falls Road. Follow this road through a stop light (it becomes Pine Tree Road at the light) to the end of the road (stop sign). Turn left to go east on Rte 79. Follow 79 about 4 miles to a sign pointing to the right to Brooktondale. Turn right (Brooktondale Rd). Go 1/2 mile to the first right hand turn (Banks Rd). Go over the bridge and our drive will be immediately on the right. Bear left at the fork in the drive and park by the house.
From the Syracuse Airport
Take I-81 south from airport about 35 miles to exit 12. Follow the exit to a tee at a stoplight. Turn left onto Rte 281 South. In about 3 miles, 281 will merge with Rte 13. Follow Rte 13 through Dryden (be sure to turn right at the main 4-corners in Dryden to stay on Rte 13). From Dryden stay on Rte 13 about 7 miles to the first stoplight. Turn left onto Dryden Road (Rte 366). Follow Rt. 366 about 3 miles to the first stop sign. This is a 3-way stop. Turn left onto Judd Falls Road. Follow this road through a stop light (it becomes Pine Tree Road at the light) to the end of the road (stop sign). Turn left on Rte 79. Follow 79 about 4 miles to a sign pointing to the right to Brooktondale. Turn right (Brooktondale Rd). Go 1/2 mile to the first right hand turn (Banks Rd). Turn right on Banks Rd. and go over the bridge. Our drive will be immediately on the right. Make a right onto the drive and bear left at the fork in the road. Park in front of the house.
From NYC
To drive here from NYC probably the best way is to go over the George Washington Bridge or through the LIncoln Tunnel and take interstate 80 west across NJ. After crossing into Pa. exit onto interstate 380 N to Scranton. From Scranton take I- 81N to Binghamton. From Binghamton, continue on I-81 N towards Syracuse. Get off at Exit 8 for Whitney Point.
Turn right at the exit, go to the end of the road and turn left. Follow signs for Rte 79 W towards Ithaca. About 4 miles past Slaterville Springs, you will see a sign pointing to the left to Brooktondale. Make a left onto Brooktondale Rd. and go 1/2 mile to the first right turn and make a right onto Banks Rd. Go over the bridge and immediately make a right onto our drive. Bear left on the drive and park in front of the house.
From Boston
To get here from Boston, take Mass Turnpike to exit for I-90 just over NY border. Take I-90 to exit for I-88 going towards Binghamton. From I-88, take the Bainbridge exit (Exit 8). Turn right at exit onto Rte 206 going west. Follow Rte 206 through Bainbridge then another 25 miles to Whitney Point. As you come into Whitney Point you will go over a bridge and immediately come to a stoplight. Turn right. Follow signs for Rte 79 W going towards Ithaca. About 4 miles past Slaterville Springs, you will see a sign pointing to
the left to Brooktondale. Turn left (Brooktondale Rd) and go 1/2 mile to the first right hand turn (Banks Rd). Turn right Go over the bridge and you will see our sign and driveway
on the right. Our house sits back off the road – bear left on the driveway and park in front of the house.
From Albany
Take Rt 88 south to Bainbridge. At Bainbridge, take Rt. 206 to Whitney Point. From Whitney Point take Rt. 79 west toward Ithaca. About 4 miles past Slaterville Springs, you will see a sign pointing to the left to Brooktondale. Turn left (Brooktondale Rd) and go 1/2 mile to the first right hand turn (Banks Rd)
Turn right on Banks Road and go over the bridge. Our drive will be immediately on the right. Make a right onto the drive and bear left at the fork in the road. Park in front of the house.
From Buffalo or Rochester
Take the NY thruway east to the Geneva exit -exit 41. At exit, follow Rte 318 to Rte 89. Take 89 south to Ithaca. As you enter Ithaca, you will cross a bridge and be on Taughanannock Boulevard. Follow Taughanannock Boulevard to the end. Turn left on State St. Go to first stop light and turn right -Fulton St. Fulton Street is one-way. Immediately get in left lane and take first left turn onto Green St (Rte 79 East).
Stay in the right lane on Green St. and follow it across town. You will eventually be heading out of Ithaca on Rte 79 East. Stay on Rte 79 about 5 miles until you see a sign pointing to Brooktondale (Brooktondale Rd).
Turn right and go about 1/2 mile to the first right hand turn-Banks Rd. Turn right on Banks Rd and go over the bridge. Our driveway is immediately on the right. Turn right onto our drive and bear left at the fork in the drive. Park in front of the house.
Approaching Ithaca from southwest
Take Rte 13 N to Ithaca. Once in Ithaca, Rte 13 will make a curve to the left, then pass a bunch of stores on the left ending with Wegmans. After passing the entrance to Wegmans, you will come to a stoplight, then go over a bridge and come to another stoplight just over the bridge. Continue straight ahead.
As you approach the next stoplight, you’ll see a sign for Rte 79 to the right. Turn right at that light (Green Street) and stay on Rte 79. Follow Rte 79 east out of Ithaca. Rt. 79 is State Street, then Slaterville Rd. About 4 miles out of town, you will see a sign pointing to the right to Brooktondale. Turn right (Brooktondale Rd) and go 1/2 mile to the first right turn – Banks Rd. Turn right on Banks Rd and go over a bridge. You will see our B&B sign and our driveway on the right immediately after you cross the bridge. Bear to the left on the driveway to go to the house. Park in front of the house.
From Binghamton
From Binghamton, take I-81 N towards Syracuse. Get off at Exit 8 for
Whitney Point. Turn right at the exit, go to the end of the road and turn left.
Follow signs for Rte 79 W towards Ithaca. About 4 miles past Slaterville Springs, you will see a sign pointing to
the left to Brooktondale. Turn left (Brooktondale Rd) and go 1/2 mile to the first right hand
turn (Banks Rd). Turn right on Banks Road and go over the bridge. Our drive is on the right immediately past the bridge. Bear to the left on the driveway and park by the house.
